Overview:

No matter how good managers believe they are at time management, there is always room for improvement. This course will give manager’s some much needed reflection time to raise awareness of what could be making them less effective, to put in place a process and strategies to boost their ability to manage time and improve their  personal effectiveness. It will also look at areas such as how to help other prioritise and the value of delegation and coaching to ensure you are utilising your team and resources effectively.

Your learning outcomes:

  • Identify your biggest time drains as a manager and your unhelpful behaviours.
  • Raise your own self awareness of your behaviours that could be impacting your ability to be more effective with your time.
  • Understand where you are spending your time and what you can do to manage your time more effectively.
  • Work through some key time management tools and techniques to identify a system that works for you.
  • Explore the importance of prioritization and what you can do to make the best use of your resources.
  • Identify the value of delegation and helping your team members manage their workload more effectively
  • Introduce the role of coaching when helping team members to problem solve and manage their workload more effectively to save you time.
