Overview:

Assertiveness is a skill that often gets misunderstood in terms of what is it and how it can help your people in the workplace. There are multiple benefits to building assertiveness such as the ability to build confidence in stating views and opinions, speaking up in meetings, managing expectations, looking after wellbeing, setting healthy working boundaries and much more. The challenge is many people lack the confidence and belief they can assert themselves appropriately. This course aims to set your people on a journey to building their ability to assert themselves and to build strategies and techniques that are right for them. It will also look at practical ways to apply the techniques and how to maintain assertiveness in challenging situations. Your staff will go away with practical tools to improve assertiveness that they can apply straight away.
