Overview:

If only you had more time. It’s something we hear a lot in the workplace and the reality is all of us have the same amount of time, it’s up to us how we use that time effectively. Time management is not about trying to create more time, it’s about being smart and effective with the time you have. This course looks to develop self-awareness in your people’s ability to manage time more effectively and will work through strategies to identify changes and a process that will work for each participant. Not only will it look at time management tools and techniques, but it will focus on behaviour and communication techniques to help your people manage their time and others more effectively around them.

Your learning outcomes:

  • Explore your biggest time drains and the impact your behaviour may have on the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Reflect on where you are spending your time versus where you think you spend your time, to gain clarity on where you could improve your personal effectiveness.
  • Work through some key time management tools and techniques to identify a system that works for you.
  • Understand what time management looks like in practice with your day-to-day activities.
  • Practice key communication techniques such as managing expectations, assertiveness and saying no.
  • Set some time management goals to help you improve your personal effectiveness.
