Overview:

Emotional Intelligence has been talked about in the workplace for many years, but it’s often not widely understood what it is, what is looks like and what are the core competencies to developing emotional intelligence particularly in challenging situations. This course looks to break down emotional intelligence to make it easy to understand, and even easier to work through tools to help your people understand how to apply and build emotional intelligence. It will also look at real life scenarios and the role for emotional intelligence in being able to tackle different challenges and people.

  • Reflect on your own levels of emotional intelligence.
  • Build an awareness of how emotion drives your behaviour.
  • Recognise different levels of emotional and the impact theyhave on your own behaviour.
  • Explore the four competencies of emotional intelligence andwhat they mean to you.
  • Identify scenarios where emotional intelligence can help youresolve challenging situations.
  • Build an action plan to develop your own emotionalintelligence.
