Overview:

Coaching is a fundamental skill for managers to develop and has many benefits including building accountability, empowerment and engagement with their direct reports. The key to developing coaching is a solid understand of what it is and an opportunity to develop core coaching skills as well as practice. This course does exactly that to improve managers understanding of coaching and to give managers an opportunity to practice everyday coaching techniques in a safe environment. Your manager’s will go away with a much better understanding of the multiple benefits of coaching as well as some core coaching techniques they can apply straight away.

  • Explore the benefits of coaching as a manager.
  • Identify and practice key skills required to be an effective coach.
  • Recognise when to use coaching to get the best out of your staff.

  • Try out your coaching skills in order to build confidence.
  • Explore key challenges you may experience when coaching staff.
